Thermal Model Of A House
A thermal model of a house generated using Matlab & Simulink. It calculates the cost of heating a house given temperature data for a given time period. This project took a lot of consideration to get right as there were so many factors to consider. I think it greatly improved my planning skills and time managements skills as we had a very limited amount of time to complete the project.
Heat Cost
Here is the estimated heat cost for temperature data from August 2012. The top graph is the cost of heating the house (€). The bottom graph shows the heater usage in yellow and the temperature data is purple.
